I was very excited to be chosen to review Mashooq’s Deep Penetrating Oil. My hair has always been very dry and frizzy from colouring and straightening. I have tried a lot of products in the past to tame my frizz and leave my hair manageable with mixed results, so I couldn’t wait to get started with this product and see the end result.

The packaging is very simple and clear. The label is a bright yellow colour which draws your eye. The wording is clear and states that the oil is 100% natural which I loved. The bottle was a nice size and easy to open.

The instructions for using the product were nice, clear and easy to understand. There were a few ways to use the product and I chose to use the oil as a hair masque. I applied the oil to my hair about 20 minutes before washing my hair and wrapped my hair in a towel.

The oil was a great consistency not too runny. It had a very natural smell to it and was very pleasant to use. It only took a minute or so to apply the oil to my hair. After the 20 minutes I found the oil was very easy to wash out of my hair after shampooing twice as I normally would.

My hair was very soft and lovely to touch after use. I found my hair easy to brush and a lot less frizz! My hair looked healthier after use. I really enjoyed using this product and I would definitely use it again as part of my hair care routine.

The RRP is £13.99 (250ml) which is a bit more than usual products I would buy, but It would last quite a while and is a lovely luxury product.

I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family and would rate this product.

Rating: 4/5
